May Introduction to Curling and Instructional League (Non-Members)
Learn to Curl!
This is our 3-week Learn To Curl Program where you can learn the basics - rock delivery, sweeping, strategy, etiquette, and more! You will also get to experience actual game action with our instructors and other Club members.
After you complete the this Program you'll be ready to join our regular Leagues, pick up games, and play in bonspiels (friendly tournaments)!
Gametimes are:
May 3 @ 12:15pm
May 10 @ 12:45pm
May 17 @ 12:45pm
The first session is about 2hrs 30min. We will start the event with a brief safety talk and an explanation of the game of curling. Then we’ll take you onto the ice for some basic instruction, moving into about 90 minutes of actual game time, with coaching from our instructors throughout the game. The second and third sessions will be about 2hrs each, jumping right into gameplay with continuing coaching.

Our Intro-to-Curling lessons are suitable for curling curious players of all ages (over 16yrs old) and all levels of athleticism. All equipment for new players will be supplied.
Note that while we do welcome groups, we can't guarantee that your group will play on the same team.
Please plan to stay after for Broomstacking! The best part of curling. Hang out for a drink with your instructor and other real, local curlers.
